Monica L. Leon is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in project management and instructional coaching. Currently serving as a Project Manager in Information, Communications, and Technology Services at Cambridge Public Schools since June 2021, Monica previously held the position of Instructional Math Coach at Martin Luther King Jr School from December 2005 to June 2021, where responsibilities included leading collaborative data analysis meetings, designing professional development, and writing strategic school improvement plans. Prior experience includes serving as an Ad-hoc Faculty Member at Boston University, teaching at Grinnell Elementary School, and contributing to project teams at Aetna Life & Casualty. Monica holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching with a Math Specialist Designation from Boston University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Bryant University.
