Darren Read is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in technology and education. Currently serving as IT Area Manager at Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust since November 2021, Darren also operates Reads Technical Solutions since June 2000. Previous positions include Group IT Services Manager at Inspire Education Group from March to October 2021, IT Services Helpdesk Team Leader at New College Stamford from March 2018 to March 2021, and IT Technical and Project Lead at The Remark Group for a brief period in 2017. Earlier, Darren worked as an IT Support Technician at New College Stamford and as a Cook at The Willoughby Arms. Darren holds a BSc in Computing from Sheffield Hallam University, completed in 2018, and has further education from New College Stamford between 2015 and 2017.
