Betsy Parrish is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in the field of TESOL. Since 1991, Betsy has served as a Professor at Hamline University, where Betsy is a faculty member in the MA TESOL Program and has established the TEFL program, overseeing all operations. In addition to this role, Betsy works as a Better Learning Champion for Cambridge University Press since 2017, providing consultancy on Adult ESL concerns and contributing to the Cambridge World of Better Learning blog. Previously, Betsy co-founded the ATLAS professional development center for ABE instructors in Minnesota and served as a co-lead instructor for the TEFL Certificate Program at the Women's Institute for Continuing Education in Paris from 1987 to 1990. Educational background includes a degree from the University of Minnesota.
