Howard Falk

Howard is a Certified Professional Accountant, currently working as the Manager of the Operating Budget Review for the City of Winnipeg. He is responsible for managing his professional staff and providing direction to and challenging and compiling departmental budgets for elected officials review and publishing those decisions. His work experience includes nine years as a Controller in the private sector, five years in public practice, and over 20 years in the budget area with the City of Winnipeg. Howard currently sits on the Audit Committee, having previously served as Chair of this committee for several years. Howard also sits on the Nominating Committee.

Howard holds diplomas in Business Administration and Christian Education. He has also acquired his Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from York University – Schulich School of Business. He has served extensively on the Council and as Chair of Trustees for Fort Garry Mennonite Brethren Church, as well as volunteering as a sports coach and mentor for youth in the community for many years.
