Fernando Achirica is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Secretary to the Board of Directors at CALVERA since October 2022, a company focused on high-pressure compressed gas systems, including hydrogen technologies. Achirica became a Partner at Ambar Partners in January 2022 and previously held the position of Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Energy Environment & Sustainability from October 2020 to January 2022. From January 2004 to October 2020, Achirica was Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Secretary of the Board of Directors, as well as Corporate Counsel at Amec Foster Wheeler. Early in the career, Achirica worked as a Senior Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, a Senior Lawyer in International and Financial Law at Red Electrica de España, and as a Lawyer at Banco Cooperativo Español. Achirica holds a Master in Financial Markets Law from ICADE and a Law degree from Universidad de Valladolid.
