Steven Cook has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. Steven worked at Travelers as a Claims Operations Specialist and an Inside Property Claims Representative from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined CalSTRS as a Staff Services Analyst and later held positions such as Senior Quality Control Analyst, Associate Systems Analyst, Projects & Systems Specialist, and Disability Benefits Lead. Their most recent role at CalSTRS is as a Disability Benefits Lead (PPMII Specialist) on the Business Core Team.

Steven Cook has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from California State University-Sacramento. Steven has also obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org, with an expected completion year of 2024.
