Henning Olsson began their work experience in 2006 as a Mechanical Engineer at Infinigear, where they worked on prototype development for a new continuously variable transmission. Henning also had the opportunity to visualize the functionality of the system for video and printed media. In 2007, they completed their Master's thesis at Öhlins Racing AB.
From 2007 to 2008, Olsson worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Jiveman Motors, focusing on prototype development for new internal combustion engine technology. Henning conducted kinematics and structural analysis, as well as mechanical part design and component packaging.
In 2008, Olsson joined HCCI Technology as a Mechanical Engineer, and later that year, they became a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at Epsilon.nu. Their responsibilities included hardware and special equipment design, mechanical design concepts, and R&D engineering internships.
In 2009, Olsson continued their career at OptimumG as an R&D Engineer until 2015. During their time there, they gained experience in research and development.
In 2010, Olsson took on the role of Lead Development Engineer at DiaSecure. Henning led the product development of an aid for insulin-dependent diabetics, managing the entire process from initial drawings to worldwide distribution. This project involved core product development, styling and mechanical design, drafting, packaging design, supplier selection, and technical documentation.
Finally, in 2015, Olsson joined Calspan Corporation as the Director of Research and Development. Henning later became the Senior Director of Technology.
Henning Olsson earned their M.Sc in Vehicle Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they completed a B.E in Mechanical Engineering at Dartmouth College from 2006 to 2007.
