Frances Hannan is a seasoned professional in product management, currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Calm since July 2023. Prior to this role, Frances held various significant titles at The New York Times from September 2015 to April 2023, including Executive Director of Product, Product Director, Senior Product Manager, Product Manager, and Associate Product Manager. Frances also gained experience at Scholastic, working as an Associate Product Manager in the Education Group and as an Associate Editor for Scholastic News from October 2013 to August 2015. Frances began the career at Scholastic Inc. in January 2011 as an Associate Editor for the Classroom and Community Group, focusing on editing nonfiction books for students and developing related online materials. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Brown University and additional education from General Assembly. Early education was completed at Nightingale Bamford School.
