Jackie Harmon is the current Director of Strategy at Callahan. Prior to their current position, Jackie held the title of Marketing Strategist at the American Academy of Family Physicians from September 2009 to May 2015. In this role, Jackie was responsible for developing marketing strategies, budgets and integrated marketing plans for more than 20 internal partners' products, programs and conferences. Jackie also created and executed marketing plans for 3,000+ attendee conferences and produced recruitment campaigns aimed at growing and maintaining membership. Additionally, Jackie collaborated with lobbyists to generate effective speak out campaigns targeted at congressional legislators. Jackie also implemented, executed and evaluated marketing and product materials related to $500,000 grant-funded education projects for corporate partners. Furthermore, Jackie provided functional expertise for content strategy and content marketing teams and supervised the work of a Marketing Coordinator.
Before their time at the American Academy of Family Physicians, Jackie was an Associate Account Executive at BKV from February 2007 to August 2009.
Jackie Harmon has a M.A. in Media Studies from Syracuse University and a B.A. in Communication Studies from The University of Kansas. Jackie also has a certification in Advanced Social Media Strategy.
