David Clarke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical support and research within the fields of chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as Technical Support Manager and Team Leader at Callaghan Innovation since February 2013, David has led and contributed to projects involving the synthesis and characterization of zwitterionic merocyanines and rare earth doped nanoparticles for applications in non-linear optics and radiation imaging. Prior experience includes roles as Research Associate at Industrial Research Ltd and Flinders University, where significant work was done on similar materials, as well as co-managing a Biodiesel research project. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Flinders University, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Inorganic Chemistry and Chemistry from the University of Adelaide, respectively.
