Andrew Clews has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrew started their career at Vantage Publishing Ltd as an Assistant Editor before moving on to Amway of New Zealand as a Communications Manager. Andrew then held the position of Product Manager - Durables at Amway of New Zealand Ltd, where they spearheaded the repositioning of the water/air treatment categories. Andrew also worked at Amway as a Senior Product Manager for the Water Treatment business and later as a Manager of Corporate Marketing. Andrew then joined HaloSource as the Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. Andrew's next role was as the Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at MAXAVA, where they led strategy development and organizational alignment. Following this, they became a Business Innovation Advisor in the Health & Digital sector at Callaghan Innovation before being promoted to the Head of Health Technology. Andrew is currently an Independent Board Director at Comprehensive Care.
Andrew Clews obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Marketing and Political Science from The University of Auckland, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. In addition, they pursued further education at The University of Auckland's Graduate School of Management. Andrew completed a program in Finance for Non-Financial Managers in 2016, while in 2015 they focused on Governance. In 2014, Andrew Clews also acquired knowledge in Lean Appreciation through a program offered by the Graduate School of Management.
