Jaipal K is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in managing global teams and delivering complex software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Calix since May 2023, Jaipal leads initiatives on AXOS infrastructure components and oversees the upgrade of Calix products to Yocto 4. Prior to Calix, Jaipal held the position of Senior Manager of Engineering at Ivanti, where a new team in Bangalore was built and upskilled. Previous roles include Senior Development Manager at Juniper Networks, where contributions to Packet Forwarding Engine features for network switches were made, and managerial positions at IP Infusion, ARRIS, Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, and Tata Elxsi, showcasing a robust background in software development and team leadership. Jaipal holds an M.S. in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a B.E. in Computer Science from Bangalore University.
