Chris Ormston is an accomplished executive in the engineering and technology sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of Sustainable Processing at Calix Limited since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager - Australia at Austin Engineering Ltd and Director of Strategic Accounts and Business Development at Metso Outotec, where Chris delivered significant business results across the Asia Pacific market. With a history of leadership in various capacities at Outotec and extensive expertise in metals and engineering, Chris has spearheaded global strategies, developed multi-disciplined teams, and led initiatives in research and development focused on energy and emissions improvements. Chris holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Materials, Manufacturing, and Management from the Joint Universities of Sheffield, is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, and has completed the Foundations of Directorship program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
