Geoffrey Bates is an experienced professional in asset management and engineering services related to water supply and infrastructure. Since October 2016, Geoffrey has served as the Supply and Plant Infrastructure Supervisor at California Water Service Company, overseeing a team responsible for groundwater production wells, pumping equipment, and water treatment infrastructure. Key responsibilities include reliability assessment, infrastructure renewal, capital program management, and contract administration. Prior to this role, Geoffrey worked as a Project Manager at Precision Hydro, Well and Pump Services, and at General Pump Company. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geology/Hydrogeology from UC Santa Barbara, obtained between 1989 and 1993.
