Melissa Wagner is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at California Virtual Academies since September 2019. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as an Orientation Specialist at California Prep Academy from January 2017 to June 2019. Melissa also had a period of self-employment as a stay-at-home mom from March 2015 to December 2016. Earlier in Melissa's career, various roles were held at the City of Santa Fe Springs from June 2001 to March 2015, including Literacy Assistant, Finance Office Aide, and Lifeguard Instructor II. Melissa earned a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Azusa Pacific University (2008-2010) and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication from California State University, Long Beach (2005-2007).
