Silvia L. Rodriguez, MPPA, MBA, currently holds the position of Manager in the Behavioral Health Branch at the California Department of Public Health, where responsibilities include managing a multidisciplinary team and providing expertise for various statewide health initiatives. Rodriguez also serves as the 2023/24 V.P/President Elect of the Hornet Policy & Politics Alumni Chapter at California State University-Sacramento and Chairperson of the Advisory Committee for First 5 Sacramento. With extensive experience in administrative management and policy development within California governmental organizations, Rodriguez has previously occupied roles such as Administrative Services Manager and Special Assistant/Chief of Staff at the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration and a Master of Business Administration from California State University-Sacramento, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Pitzer College.
