Melita Mehzabin is a dedicated student at California State University, Northridge, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Since August 2021, Melita has gained valuable experience through multiple roles, including Student Employee, Resident Advisor, and Undergraduate Student Researcher in Dr. Ruiz's lab. Melita has also contributed as a Research Assistant in the CSUN General Education Honors Program, a DRES Notetaker, and Secretary for the CSUN Student Health Advisory Committee. Additional experience includes internships at Takeda and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, participation in research projects under Dr. Tonyan, and involvement in leadership as Senator for the College of Science and Mathematics within the Associated Students. Melita’s work in community outreach, event coordination, and communication exemplifies a commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.
