Asil Yassine currently serves as a Lecturer at California State University, Northridge, and a Psychotherapist at Downtown Mind Wellness, both positions held since August 2022. Asil is also a Ph.D. Candidate in Human Development and Psychology and a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies since September 2019. Previous roles include Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Teacher at Universal Academy and Detroit Public Schools, Curriculum Fellow at Education Opens Doors, Analyst at The Commit! Partnership, Intern at Williams Family Foundation, and Student at the School for International Training. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Human Development and Psychology from UCLA, a Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Economics from Austin College.
