Antoinette Balta is currently the Director at the California State Guard Foundation. Prior to this, they were a Law Lecturer at UC Irvine School of Law, a Staff Attorney for Operation Veterans Re-Entry at the Public Law Center, and an attorney at The Law Offices of Antoinette N. Balta.
Major Balta started their career with the Legal Support Command of the California State Guard, where they provided legal services and assisted with recruiting and retention. Antoinette concluded their time with the CSG as part of STRATCOM, where they assisted with marketing and branding.
At UC Irvine School of Law, Antoinette Balta taught veterans in the law clinic. At the Public Law Center, they provided direct legal services to homeless and at risk veterans, coordinated and distributed cases to pro bono attorneys, and presented on veterans legal issues and operations at local and national conferences.
Antoinette Balta has a LLM in Business & Economics from Chapman University Fowler School of Law, a Juris Doctor in Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Chapman University Fowler School of Law, and a BS in Business Administration, Marketing and Management from Chapman University. Antoinette is also certified by the Fieldstone Leadership Network in Learning and Leadership and by Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
