Sara Goldrick-Rab is the Founder and CEO of EduOptimists LLC, specializing in consulting for higher education institutions and research for social scientists since August 2013. Goldrick-Rab currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for Roadtrip Nation and College Housing Northwest, and as a Columnist for Diverse: Issues In Higher Education. Additionally, Goldrick-Rab is an Adjunct Professor at Community College of Philadelphia, teaching Sociology 101. As a Researcher at UCLA, Goldrick-Rab supports the STAND ALACRITY Center project focused on community college students' mental health and social needs. Goldrick-Rab holds various educational consultant roles, including with the Association of Community College Trustees and Fresno City College, and is a Senior Fellow at Education Northwest. With a PhD in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania, Goldrick-Rab has a strong academic background in the field.
