Evan Tapper currently serves as the Dean of Extended Studies at the California Institute of the Arts since August 2023. Prior to this role, Evan Tapper held various positions at OCAD University from 2004 to 2023, including Director of the School of Continuing Studies, Manager of the Office of Continuing Studies, Program Coordinator, and Sessional Instructor in the Faculty of Art. Additionally, Evan Tapper has experience as a Sessional Lecturer in Studio Art at the University of Toronto Scarborough (2011-2023) and in Communication Studies & Multimedia at McMaster University (2005-2008). Earlier, Evan Tapper was an Assistant Professor in Visual Art & New Media at the State University of New York at Fredonia from 2001 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Manitoba.
