Cynthia Villasenor is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in the arts and higher education sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Development for Major Gifts at the California Institute of the Arts since January 2021, Cynthia has previously held consulting and leadership roles, including Development Consultant at High Point Academy, Advancement Consultant at Hauser-Gartland Consulting, and Chief Advancement Officer at the Los Angeles County Arts Commission/Ford Theatres. Other notable positions include Vice President for External Relations at the Japanese American National Museum and Assistant Dean at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Cynthia's earlier career includes various roles at the University of Southern California School of Theatre, culminating as Director of Academic Services. Cynthia is educated at the University of Southern California and Woodbury University.
