The California Housing Partnership (the Partnership) assists nonprofit and government housing agencies to create and preserve housing affordable to lower-income households, while providing leadership on affordable housing policy. Since its incorporation in 1988, the Partnership has helped its partners create and preserve more than 70,000 affordable homes in California and provided training and technical assistance to more than 20,000 individuals.

The Research and Policy Team at the California Housing Partnership conducts data analysis and policy research to support the creation and preservation of affordable housing in California. They develop reports, policy recommendations, and advocacy strategies to inform and influence housing policy at local, state, and federal levels, providing evidence-based insights to nonprofit and government housing agencies.
