Jenny Hyun has extensive experience in data analytics and management. Jenny is currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Data Analytics at Vituity since March 2020. In their role, they oversee the productionalization of analytic and operational tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams and establishing technical and functional parameters for development and implementation.
Before joining Vituity, Jenny worked at Vituity as a Senior Program Manager/Director from August 2016 to February 2019. Jenny was responsible for the production and implementation of various projects related to patient experience, falls risk, hip fracture, and pharmacy. Jenny collaborated with clinical subject matter experts and developers to meet user requirements and release tools to end users.
Prior to Vituity, Jenny worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as a Quality Manager from October 2012 to July 2016. Jenny'sprimary focus was on driving healthcare quality and organizational change through data. Jenny served as the subject matter expert for CMS Pay-for-Performance programs and other quality metrics, as well as coordinated the hospital-wide Quality Improvement Committee.
From June 2008 to September 2012, Jenny Hyun worked at the Veterans Health Administration. In their role as the Manager for Monitoring, Data, and Analytics for the Military Sexual Trauma Support Team, they led the evaluation of staffing resources for MST-related mental health conditions at VA facilities. Jenny also supervised a statistical programmer and produced annual reports on MST screening and treatment. Prior to that, they served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Health Services Research, where they investigated the impact of process improvement tools on screening and counseling rates for HIV and Hepatitis C.
Jenny's earliest work experience was as a Management Fellow at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for Aged from May 2001 to June 2002. During this time, they applied management philosophies and process improvement techniques to direct operations and lead projects such as nursing recruitment and retention, cost-savings programs, and leadership skill development.

Jenny Hyun has a Doctoral degree in Health Services and Policy Analysis with a specific emphasis in Organizational Theory from the University of California, Berkeley. Jenny also holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Services from Boston University School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pyschobiology/Italian from Wellesley College.
