Eric Heiman is a co-founder and partner at Volume Inc., an award-winning creative agency established in May 2001, specializing in diverse projects such as museum exhibitions, brand strategy, and interactive media. In addition to their role at Volume Inc., Eric Heiman has been a professor of design at the California College of the Arts since September 1999, with positions ranging from assistant to associate professor. Eric co-founded TBD* at California College of the Arts in September 2017, a student design studio focused on providing design support to local nonprofits. Previously, Eric served as an open space columnist for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from March 2009 to January 2013. Eric's early experience includes roles as a freelance designer and senior designer at Elixir Design and Zimmermann Crowe Design, respectively. Eric holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and a BFA in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts.
