Marla L. began their career in 2005 as a Sr. Learning Technologist at Agilysys, Inc. (Formerly InfoGenesis). In 2012, they moved to Calient Technologies Inc. where they held the role of Project Administrator.

Marla L. obtained their MA in Educational Technology from San Diego State University between 2009 and 2011. Marla also attended California State University, Fresno and St Joseph High School. Additionally, Marla L. obtained the ā€˜20 Questions to Improve Learning at Your Organizationā€™ certification from LinkedIn in August 2020.
