Kimberly Armstrong currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Calgary Police Service since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kimberly held positions including Deputy City Manager of Employee Services at the City of Edmonton from August 2018 to April 2023, and various deputy minister roles within the Government of Alberta from July 2015 to August 2018, including Deputy Minister of Seniors and Housing and Deputy Minister for Status of Women. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Attorney General at Alberta Justice and Solicitor General and Deputy Secretary to Cabinet and Deputy Clerk of Executive Council at the Government of Alberta Executive Council. Kimberly's professional journey began as a Manager of Legal Services and Legal Advisor at Edmonton Police Service from 1997 to 2006 and as an Associate at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP from 1994 to 1997. Educational credentials include an Executive Education Program from Ivey Business School, an LLB from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, and a BAH in Political Studies from Queen's University.
