Julia Vanden Heuvel serves as the Director of the Patient Medical Home at Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network, where responsibilities include collaborating with family doctors and healthcare teams to provide patient-centred care in NW Calgary and Cochrane. Prior to this role, Julia Vanden Heuvel was a Program Manager at Living Well, Alberta Health Services, managing a team of 80 across community sites to deliver exercise and education programs for individuals with chronic conditions. Additionally, Julia Vanden Heuvel worked as an Exercise Specialist at the Cardiac Wellness Institute, focusing on clinical exercise testing and ECG-based exercise prescription for those with cardiovascular conditions. Julia Vanden Heuvel holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta and a certification as a Health and Wellness Coach from Wellcoaches.
