Anika Van Wyk serves as the Director of Communications at Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network since May 2019, overseeing strategic communications, employee engagement, media relations, and executive communication. Previously, Anika held the position of Associate Director Communications at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from September 2011 to June 2018, where responsibilities included leading a team in managing strategic communications and media relations across various departments. Anika's earlier experience includes roles as a Web Communications Officer at Mount Royal University and as an editor and reporter at prominent publications such as Calgary Sun, Medicine Hat News, and Calgary Herald. Anika holds a Journalism Arts Diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
