Geraldine Anderson currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Strategy & Strategic Alliances at Calgary Economic Development since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Communications for the Federal Government of Canada and Director of Policy & Communications for Calgary Chamber of Commerce. Previously, Geraldine held positions in corporate and public affairs at TD, and managed government and stakeholder relations for the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association. Geraldine's career also features significant roles in communications strategy and media issues at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. Additional experience includes consulting at Navigator Ltd and freelance reporting for The Mississauga News. Geraldine holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Ryerson University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, Professional Writing & History from the University of Toronto.
