Sheila Farid, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Facility Operations at the Calgary Board of Education since October 2021. Previously, Sheila held the position of Regional Manager of Operations at the Toronto District School Board, overseeing maintenance and community use, as well as facilities finance and budgets from March 2019 to October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Service Quality Supervisor in Facilities Management at the Toronto Catholic District School Board, and roles in contracts management at the Association of Ontario Health Centres and the Central West Community Care Access Centre. Sheila holds a Master’s of Business Administration with a Commerce major from Laurentian University, a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Human Resources major from Algoma University, and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration Management from George Brown College, as well as additional education focused on Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta.
