Yilian Turcios, MSHRM, currently serves as a Human Resources Business Partner at Calder Casino, responsible for managing employment and onboarding processes while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Previously, Yilian held the position of Human Resources Assistant at Jungle Island Resort, assisting with talent acquisition and interviews. Yilian has extensive experience in education, having worked as a 5th Grade ELA Teacher at Southside Preparatory Academy, a 6th Grade ELA Teacher and Track and Field Assistant Coach at Sports Leadership And Management Academy, a 2nd Grade ELA Teacher and Activities Director at Mater Academy of International Studies, and a K-12 Teacher/Curriculum Advisor at New Village Academy. Yilian began a career in customer service at Brickell Motors before transitioning to education and human resources.
