Brian Corpening currently serves as the Chief Diversity Officer at California State University, Monterey Bay, a position held since June 2018. Prior to this role, Brian held significant positions in various educational institutions, including Assistant Provost for Diversity and Community Partnerships at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from April 2006 to June 2018, and Dean of Student Development at St. Louis Community College from September 1995 to March 2006. Brian's earlier career includes roles such as Chief of Staff at Bunker Hill Community College and Director of the Multicultural Center at Illinois State University. Brian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Binghamton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Brian has completed the Management Development Program at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
