Joseph Sleeman is currently the Engine Subsystem Lead at Cal Poly Racing, overseeing the development, fabrication, and testing of engine subsystem components while utilizing advanced data analysis tools. Previously at Cal Poly Racing, Joseph served as an Engine Subsystem Technician and Wire Harnessing Technician, gaining hands-on experience in the mechanical and electrical aspects of automotive systems. As a Project Engineer Intern at Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases, Joseph contributed to PLC implementation and developed electrical schematics. Early work experience includes roles as a Lather/Laborer at MISSION VALLEY TILE & MARBLE and an Asphalt Slurry Crew Member at American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Company, Inc. Joseph is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, building upon an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Palomar College.
