Anthony Lew's work experience begins with their current role as Design Lead (Brand & Product UIUX Design) at Birthday Research, a Blockchain R&D team for Cake DeFi. In this position, they lead the design team and scales design efforts to support new product innovations and the existing product life cycle.
Prior to their current role, Anthony worked as a Senior Designer (Brand & Visuals) at Birthday Research from April 2022 to August 2022.
In 2010, Anthony began their career as a Creative, showcasing their skills in crafting meaningful identities and purposeful designs across various disciplines, including product UIUX, digital, and spatial.
From 2015 to 2022, Anthony worked at BUREAU, starting as a Graphic Designer in May 2012 and progressing through roles such as Senior Designer, Associate Design Director, and ultimately Design Director. Anthony gained valuable experience overseeing small to medium-sized projects from the conceptual stage to production and worked closely with major clients like Facebook, LendLease, and National Gallery Singapore.
Prior to BUREAU, Anthony worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at motion - the creative influence in 2011 and as a Freelance Graphic/Web Designer from 2006 to 2010.
Anthony Lew began their education journey by earning a Diploma in Multimedia Technology from Singapore Polytechnic, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Later on, they attended LASALLE College of the Arts, where they pursued a Higher Diploma in Design and Visual Communications from 2010 to 2011. Anthony then furthered their education at LASALLE College of the Arts, completing their Bachelor of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from 2010 to 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Anthony has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills in the field. Anthony successfully completed the following courses: "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes" from Coursera | Google in September 2021, "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Coursera | Google in September 2021, and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" from Coursera | Google in June 2021.
