CAINZ was started by a small group of students who were trying to address the disconnect between studies and professional work. CAINZ was built on the following key concepts:

-   Expose members to the realities of industry work through a learning-by-doing approach, allowing them to make an informed decision about their future

-   Nurture the enthusiasm and passion of our members
