Ugaitz Echevarria has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ugaitz began their career in 2008 as an English, French, and Basque teacher at Attic idiomas. In 2010, they worked as a Paralegal at P.E. ENTERPRISE, S.L., where they managed trademark and patent portfolios, translated legal documents, and maintained a trademark database. From 2012 to 2013, they served as an International Trade Consultant at the Trade Commission of Spain in Chicago, conducting market research, participating in internationalization projects, and drafting market research reports. In 2013, they interned as an International trade intern at ORBEA. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an In House Counsel at IDOM, establishing a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, overseeing legal procedures, and managing subsidiary administration. Lastly, since 2015, they have been Head of Tax and Legal at CAF Turnkey & Engineering. Overall, Ugaitz Echevarria has gained extensive experience in legal and trade-related roles, demonstrating their expertise in various areas.
Ugaitz Echevarria's education history begins in 2002, when they started their Law major at the University of Deusto. Ugaitz studied a variety of subjects, including international law, and completed their degree in 2007. In 2005, they were granted an Erasmus scholarship and spent a year studying law at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
In 2008, Ugaitz Echevarria returned to the University of Deusto to pursue a Master's degree in International Trade Law and Finance. Ugaitz completed this program in 2009. During the same year, they also attended Tilburg University, where they studied Trade Law and Finance as part of their Master's degree.
In 2009-2010, Ugaitz Echevarria attended the Université de Strasbourg, where they pursued a Master 2 degree in Intellectual Property Law. Ugaitz then specialized in International Commerce, completing an Expert degree at the Universidad del PaÃs Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 2011.
In addition to their formal degrees, in 2008, Ugaitz Echevarria participated in an Intensive Programme in International Private Law at the University of Deusto.
