Amitabh Chand is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the engineering sector, currently serving as Vice President of Product Engineering at Cadence Design Systems since September 2023. Prior to this role, Amitabh held various leadership positions at Synopsys Inc from February 1998 to September 2023, including Vice President of Application Engineering & Operation in the Verification Group and Vice President. Amitabh's career began at Cadence Design Systems as a software engineer from June 1995 to December 1997. Amitabh holds an Executive Education degree from Harvard Business School, an ALM in Management from Harvard University, and a BE in MS Electrical Engineering Physics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Early education includes studies at Ravenshaw College in science.
