Jason Weathersby is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in developer relations and open source evangelism. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Cadena Platforms since February 2024, Jason previously held the position of Senior Director of Developer Relations at Algorand from October 2018 to January 2024. Earlier in Jason's career, a significant role was as the Head of Developer Relations at Mozilla Corporation from May 2013 to October 2018, and prior to that, Jason contributed as the Director of Open Source Evangelism and BIRT Evangelist at Actuate from 2005 to April 2013. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Carolina, earned between 1987 and 1991.
