Michael Milone has a long history of experience in the medical field. Michael began their career in 1999 as a Resident Physician at Penn Medicine (University of Pennsylvania Health System). In 2007, they transitioned to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Michael'sresearch laboratory was devoted to developing immunotherapy for patients with cancer and other diseases using genetically engineered T cells. In 2018, they Co-Founded Cabaletta Bio, and in 2020 they became the Founder of Verismo Therapeutics.
Michael Milone obtained a B.S. in Chemical Biology from Stevens Institute of Technology between 1989 and 1992. Michael then went on to obtain an M.D. in Medicine & Immunology from New Jersey Medical School between 1992 and 1999. During this time, they also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Rutgers-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences between 1995 and 1997. In 2002, they obtained a certification in Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology.
