Bruce E. Wexler, MD has had an extensive and diverse work experience throughout their career. Bruce E. started their career as an intern in General Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center in 1973. Bruce E. then went on to become a Psychiatry Resident at Yale University School of Medicine from 1974 to 1975. In 1979, they became the Associate Chief of the Clinical Research Unit at Connecticut Mental Health Ctr, Yale University, a role they held until 1981. From 1983 to 1989, they worked as the Chief of the Mental Hygiene Clinic at VA Medical Center, Yale University. Bruce E. then became the Director of the Outpatient Division at Connecticut Mental Health Ctr, Yale University from 1989 to 1994. In 1991, they joined Yale University as a Professor, and they continue to hold this position. In 1994, they also became the Director of the Neurocognitive Assessment Laboratory and the Medical Director for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Connecticut Mental Health Ctr, Yale University, positions they held until 2011. In 1999, they worked as the Coordinator of fMRI Studies in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University until 2004. In 2008, they were a Visiting Professor of Cognitive Science at Peking University. Finally, in 2011, they joined C8 Sciences as the Chief Scientist, a position they currently hold.
Bruce E. Wexler, MD obtained their Bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard University from 1965 to 1969.
