Sanjana Acharya currently serves as the Regional Officer for South and West Asia at C40 Cities, a role held since July 2022. Prior experience includes positions as an Analyst in Capabilities and Insights at McKinsey & Company and a Storytelling and Editorial Fellow at Our Climate Voices. Sanjana's career also encompasses a tenure as Creative Lead at Athene Science and various academic roles at institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Sanjana holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a PG Diploma in Urban Environmental Management & Law from National Law University, Delhi, complemented by studies at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
