Bas van Veldhuizen is a seasoned professional in naval architecture and project management, currently serving as General Manager and Head of Project Management at C-Job Naval Architects in Rotterdam since September 2019, overseeing projects in The Netherlands, Athens, and Houston. With prior experience as Senior Project Manager at De Voogt Naval Architects and Project Manager at Fugro Marine Services, Bas has a strong background in managing new building projects. Earlier roles include Assistant Project Manager and Naval Architect at IHC Merwede, specializing in the design and cost estimation of trailing suction hopper dredgers. Bas obtained a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Hogeschool INHOLLAND Delft and an MTS degree from Scheepvaart en Transport College.
