Corey Drake is a Research Engineer at C-FER Technologies since July 2013, with prior experience as a co-op student at Suncor Energy, NRC-IOT, American Bureau of Shipping, and C-CORE. At Suncor Energy, responsibilities included optimizing spend profile and supporting TA planning strategy. At NRC-IOT, Corey completed a literature review on ice-ridge modeling and developed Matlab code for ice load prediction on offshore structures. Previous roles involved analyzing ship casualty data, risk analysis model development, QA/QC of sea ice load software, and instrumentation calibration. Corey holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, earned between 2007 and 2013.
