Lawrence Tolmay started their work experience as a SAP ABAP Developer at the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa in June 2016, where they worked until October 2018. In December 2018, they joined Olayan-Britehouse as a SAP ABAP Developer, where they worked until November 2019. From February 2020 to the present, Lawrence has been employed as a SAP ABAP Developer at C Ahead Global, where they have been involved in developing and designing an interface to communicate with Salesforce cloud CRM, communication via SAP PO to Salesforce REST API, and developing a customized solution to send user and account information to Salesforce via batch process.

Lawrence Tolmay has completed a diploma in Developing Webapps with UI5. This was achieved through a SAP Course, although the specific start and end years of the education are not provided.
