Rick G. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate development and investment. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Development for APAC at ByteDance since April 2020, Rick also holds roles as Supervising Producer and in Investment & Partnerships. Rick has been with SoftBank Group Corp. since 2016, contributing as a SoftBank Academia Member, a program focused on leadership development initiated by Masayoshi Son. Prior experience includes a position as a Strategy and Investment Associate at SenseTime from July 2018 to April 2020 and as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi from April 2017 to June 2019. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Competitive Strategy from Waseda University and completed a one-year exchange program at the Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto.
