Chenguang Xi is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at ByteDance since June 2020, Chenguang specializes in Code LLM and leads the AML US team in innovative projects related to recommendation systems and large language models. Prior to ByteDance, Chenguang worked as a Research Scientist at Meta from December 2017 to May 2020, where contributions were made to enhance major Facebook products through advancements in machine learning. Chenguang holds a Ph.D. in Convex Optimization and Machine Learning and a Master of Science in Integrated Circuit Design from Tufts University, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Microelectronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
