Jaret Thornton started their work experience in 2012 as an Assistant Golf Coach at Lost Creek Country Club, where they coached junior golfers and taught them the rules and techniques of the game. In 2014, they worked as a Cart Manager and Range Assistant at the Harvey Penick Golf Academy. From 2015 to 2016, Jaret worked as a Barista and Shift Lead at Fair Bean Coffee. In 2018, they served as a Summer Intern at Beard Integrated Systems, Inc. Jaret then worked as a Student Worker in the Office of the Commandant at Texas A&M University from 2020 to 2021, where they provided customer service and assisted Brigadier General Joe E. Finally, Jaret joined Byrne Construction Services in 2021 as a Construction Estimator, followed by roles as a Construction Project Coordinator and currently serving as a Senior Project Coordinator.

Jaret Thornton attended Texas A&M University from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction.
