David Pier is an experienced professional in the energy storage sector, currently serving as the Global Head of End-Use Energy Storage at BYK Additives. Prior roles include Sales Manager for Energy Storage and Key Account Manager at Commeo GmbH, as well as Project Engineer for Battery Storage Systems. David's academic background includes a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Supply from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Engineering and Resource Optimization from Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, David has practical experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta and completed a Master Thesis project internship at the Da Nang Institute for Social-Economic Development.
