Omer Tajassir Mekki is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Byblos Bank Group since January 2020, Omer has also held the position of Deputy Head of IT. Prior to this role, Omer worked as an IT senior officer at Byblos Bank Africa from March 2007 to January 2020. Omer holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Sudan University of Science and Technology, earned between February 1999 and October 2003.
